You might be wondering why is my blog titled two bricks, three wall and a sewer. Do you want to guess what my blog is about? Wild guesses. Anybody? One in a million might guess, it's about toilet. Yes. You are reading it right.. it's about a toilet I encountered while traveling in bus on my way to Pune from Bhusaval. Such a unique toilet I tell you. I want it installed in my house. For those who don't understand snide and sarcastic comments. It was my worst nightmare. But what could I do. When one has to go, one has to go. You can't ignore nature's call, can you? Million thoughts started running in my mind before I stepped into that thing. Whatever it was. One of the thought was rooting for adult diaper, whilst traveling next time. 🙄😅 By the way it was 3 walled because toilet because who needs a roof right?
After this, one thing is certain, I can't thank the Indian railways enough. Thankyou 🤝 government you take so much care, of passengers while traveling in trains. In train I can eat, I can sleep. While in this sleeper bus, for the same fare. I couldn't even open the tiffin box I was carrying, fearing the need to consume water after eating. which might lead me to my nightmare.(the toilet 🤦) While I have thanked the union government for Railways and it's services I should reprimand the state government for dilapidated condition of the roads. Traveling in bus would have been a lot easier if you had built some roads into potholes.🙄 Traveling in sleeper bus, which has good suspension feels like traveling on a bouncy castle. If the bus wasn't covered with a roof I might have reached Pune flying, thanks to the bouncy potholes. (The same might have happened to my food. That's another reason I didn't eat. ) I finally realised how poor Mario felt all the time. Atleast mario earns gold coins for hopping, I had to shed 1000 bucks for traveling on this trampolin. 🙄😅 Imagine sleeping on the trampoline while others are jumping around you. I saw the lady sleeping next to me mid air so many times. Yes that's exactly the experience of traveling on this bus. 2 ×1 Diamond class, sleeper coach. Yukta travels.
Coming back to the brick toilet. I need to come back to chalisgaon, Hotel morya dhaba (not in this, never in this bus) and find out the creator of this genius toilet. Ask him if he or his family have ever seen toilets or even commodes for a matter of fact. I Will give him the benefit of doubt. He might be ignorant or the owner of this morya Dhaba was too stingy to pay for commodes and water and roof... What do you think? I can't help it but think, is this really the state of toilets in our state once we cross the cities? Public toilets in the city are no party either. It's sad to think we give the least priority to health and hygiene.
Arriving at the shocking part, ladies standing in the line with me were oblivious to the appearance of this toilet. None of them were taken aback. This can only mean two things a) they are habitual of such toilet facility b) They don't care and have a carefree 'chalta hai'( It's ok) attitude. Both hazardous scenario, isn't it? Or Am I overreacting?
Swati Iyer.
Thanks for sharing my experience also. Me too had gone with same experience many times. That's why I travel to prefer in train over bus. I had horrible experience in bus, the bus Departed from bhusawal at Pune 9 pm & reached Pune at 2 pm😣. The bus Tyre was puncture 2 times in night & they didn't stopped in morning for toilet 🤪🤪🤪. That was last time, I travelled in bus. Now a days, If I don't get reservations in normal express train, I used to travel in Bhusawal Pune express, late sahi but comfortably pahuchta hun Pune.
ReplyDeleteGlad to know that I am not alone and someone share this experience with me... 🙈
