If you intend to improve your English speaking and listening skills the best way to do it is by observation. Listening is a very powerful medium. How do you think children learn the language you speak? There you go Eureka! "Dimag ki batti jali?" Therefore, When you are watching the tutorial videos or taking class the best way to learn English is to watch but concentrate on listening. Watch Hollywood movies, British movies and series/drama. That has a flipside too. Choosing the movies or series can be tricky because the accent differs and bear in mind, like we make a lot of grammatical mistakes while speaking in our mother tongue sometimes, same applies to people in other countries. To maintain authenticity they show few people who frame grammatically incorrect sentences. Only people with basic knowledge of grammar can hear and register these mistakes. So it's advisable to study grammar whilst watching the movies/series. There are few movies where grammar is ought to be correct. Especially British English movies (only when they show urban/city life)
To start your rundown with English take baby steps by reading, communicating, watching English content. Begin your journey with documentaries. Not necessarily by people in UK or USA. You may not get their accents at the beginning and because may find learning this language a bit difficult. What you can't understand will always be difficult. Remember this. So begin with English videos from your own country. Choose the topic which is lighter and interests you in some other way. If it's boring you might fall asleep. That's not the way to learn isn't it.(don't watch boring tutorial videos) If you still find it difficult then go for the one which has subtitles. Concentrate on the subtitles. Observe. Whenever you are reading, listing, there might be some words, phrases, thoughts and idioms that you are not aware of. Like for example, when I used the word 'Idiom' many of you will not be knowing this word. Go to Google read it's meaning, if you still don't get it choose YouTube video that is explaining the same word in your own language. That might make it easier for you to understand. In the day and age of technology make it a point to use it optimally. Find meaning of whatever you don't understand. A teacher can teach, but, weather you really want to learn or not is absolutely upto you. No one can make you learn but YOURSELF.
